I got the Inverted 360 on lock, but that's the only major trick, that involves going upside down, that I can do.
I've been watching some vert videos online, but I wanted to see if there's any tips I should hear about before I go and try some flatspins or bios. I don't really know which way to lean when I start to come off the ramp, when to push out, and when to start/stop spinning. If you could help me with that I'd appreciate it. |

It helps if you can do backflips, when trying flatspins. For a flatspin, you carve up the ramp (like a grind) and somewhere along the coping, you throw your head back and try to catch your knees. The catch is that you should bend at the waist a little so that your head doesn't really go anywhere. Worst thing in the world is to smack the back of your head on a vert ramp. So, twist at the waist to keep you head somewhat level, when you see the ramp coming back into view, twist your upper body 90° and roll back down fakie, or forward...it's all preference.
