Woodward East trip

Just kicking this back into people minds to see if they want to go through with a trip, Im figuring in April becuase that when most people, if in school, have sping breack so it would be a perfect time to go on one of those getaway weekends. So post if your interested in going and Ellmer and Thumper if you could talk to so of the other pro vert guys about comming out and helping us AM's out that would be awsome. If we get enough people interested by Dec 1st I'll start making phone calls to woodward about seeing if we could get a trip out there.

As much as I would love to go I doubt I can make it.
Considering going to WWW. I think the vert is a lot better and I perfer the housing much more, though you will need a car.

The benifit of WWE is most people here, im assuming, live in the central to eastern part of the country so driving to WWE would be more cost effective. But if we go to WWW most of us will have to pay for plane tickets there becuase it would be a 2 day trip for most of us.
Unless we can get someone to rent a huge van, get people to get plane tickets to a airport nearby, so it's a cheeper flight, the do a huge roadtrip out to WWW then we probably could go to WWW.
Shoot ideas around people and lets see what we can come up with

you know i think the trip is a great idea and i would love to go to WW. it will be a great challenge though because we're trying to get people from different states to meet in one single place. but with a little planning i think it can be done. as far as i know...i'm in.

good, thats another reason i say april becuase it gives us time to plan everything out. we just need to decide on which one to go to and when in april

yea...cause i count about 7 people(out of the ones that posted location) that are closer to east than west. i mean i'm only about 9 hours away. thats not too bad of a roadtrip for me. but i'd rather at least fly or something cause i don't think i could make the entire 9 hour trip on my own. so that would be good to fly or whatever and meet somewhere then rent a van and go from there. but theres still plenty of time to plan this.

i'm fairly new here, and i'm absolutely brutal at vert, and i can do at most 3 grinds on handrails, but a trip to WW is a good idea.

did you have a week in april planned? i'm in MI, so the drive isn't very far (i could get there in a day's drive), but i work evenings, so i'd need to know the week so i could get my vacation time.


i'll let you guys know if it's do-able.

i have about a snowball's chance in hell of getting anything past the 2nd week of march off from work. damn that sucks, and my spring break is in february. WTF! spring isnt even in februrary.

damn it all!!!!! looks like i'm not going anywhere.....my car is in the shop right now and its gonna take $1,700 to get it fixed....so looks like there goes the Woodward trip for me.
