Ok so Im finally gonna stop being a cheap-ass and replace my old k2 transfers (My buckle fell off during my last vert comp.. thats a sign)
Seeing I have relatively new fiziks frames, Im looking at boot-only deals. I spend about 1/2 time vert and 1/2 time park (all indoors during colorado winters)
I was offered a good deal on razors stockwells... but is there anything new with the K2 boots? Does anyone ride the new salomons?
thanks in advance

I've skated on TRS, Salomon, Razors and K2.
The stiffiest skates were the TRS
Then the Razors.
Salomon Chambells.
and softest were the K2 (Shjrine's).
I love the razors, they're good skates all around.
Though I changed the buckle to a salomon buckle because the Razor buckles are weak.

Im sorry maybe they are great skates... I havent heard if they work nice, I just cant get over that space age look yknow
I've skated them before, someone wanted to try my K2's and he had the xjados, and they are very nice, confy and the frames are cool. Like my K2's you can wear them loose for street and then tighten them up for getting some major air.

you like the frames... do you skate anti rocker?
No, i used to but then i got the omar Wysong freestyle frames, and i cant ride anti-rocker anymore, it feels to weird and i keep locking in a grind between my wheel and anti-rocker. It's always weird when i go from my freestyle frames to my fiziks, freestly to full flat, dont tell me thats not a wierd change.

On park and vert I always use my flat fiziks but on real street I use Ground Controle. It's weird to adjust but it gets easy.

Im riding the alpha II with fiziks, the boots are probably the stiffest out there, great for vert!
The ALpha 2's look sweet but i never liked rollerblade liners

I cant find petrones anywhere... what do they look like andy?
btw... is this the offseason for you and J, or do you guys skate cleart through winter?
I stake all the time, there two indoor parks and three outdoor parks within 5 minuets of my house. But i have to drive to chicago, 3 hours away, to trian in vert though.

i skate year-round. theres an indoor park right down the street from where i work. and i put on some warm clothes to go to the downtown park(when theres no snow).
I have a friend who skated the patrons, he now has Deshies, and Kevin, who won first at the LG Championships, wore the patrones at Buffalo. Does anyone know what skates he had on at the championships becuase they look like K2's?
