Don't lean back, bend ur knees, pump, keep your cenetr of gravity low. Thats all I can say seeing as how I can hardly do it

try getting a little air doing air to fakies and slowly increase your heith it will help you feel your center of gravity.

yea...take a warm-up tip from Takeshi....i saw him in Cincinati and he dropped in and just did a air-fakie...then a fakie-regular air on the next wall....and just kept getting higger doing that over and over......just start out small and work your way up....

it sounds like a good warmup.....gets you used to the ramp....forward and back.....

for my warm-up i always start by pumping my way up to the top of the ramp fakie, ok its only a 10ft ramp near me so it takes like 2 walls but then i start doing fakie and air to fakie till im at about 2 foot then do some normal airs about the same height but carved. after a few walls i then go pad up and drop in! i find that i also helps to do a few 180 stalls as well before going for bigger airs, gets you used to the ramp. inverts and invert 3s are also good.

for my fakie airs, not even on vert, just regular ramps, all i do is tuck my feet in. i think it's easier to air fakie because you come back in forward. i also think it's easier because for me, the coping is a mental barrier, and i feel like i'm going to trip over it. so, with airing fakie, i dont see the coping and i air like i'm still skating the ramp, even though there's nothing their; when i look down and see the ground under me that's how i know i'm getting air.
