That vert ramp is very very awsome, I wish i could skate it. How tall is it?

It's about 12 with a 5ft roll in the roll in is super mellow it has 1 ft extensions on one side and 2 ft extensions on the other. The 2 ft extensions are really narrow though. The ramp rides Ultra smooth. It's the best ramp I've ever ridden.

Andy its pete from Boulder :)
now that vert worlds are over, I finally got the kahunas to start landing backflip... damn its so easy when you stop being a pansy! Still cant land backflip 180 though... something about landing facing downhill?
Anyways, I just saw this on rye airfield's website... should I come and pay a visit back to NH again?

about that contst look at where you qualify to go, the Tampa AM's, thats a skatbord competition in FLorida so it's not for inline unfortinantly.

congrats paul, that was #100
i went to Buffalo, 5th time in a vert ramp, only having the 360, backflip, and 720 McTwist (sometimes) and i went anyway, if Kevin hadn't gone to Buffalo i would've been at the world AM's, even though i found out 2 DAYS before the comp that i did qualify.

well all i can do is handplant(not even that stylish....need more height), fakie 360, and regular and ally-oop 180s. oh and a few low grabs. so i don't really think i'm ready for a comp yet...maybe after i learn to drop-in and a few more tricks, then i'll go.

Rye is pretty lousy about thier vert. They even cancelled thier sky high vert this year. There is another contest they run called wicked am witch is run by another orginazation that rents the park. They usually do this sweet overall impression vert jam witch is wicked fun.
hey andy let us know when any contest are going to be at rye and maybe some of us could come up, i know i would definantly try to come up.

rye is ridiculous about comps. also they pay no attention to inline at all. theres like 2 comps a year their but the ppl who skate it are pretty chill. usually only me andy pat schaeffer and 1 or 2 of the local kids. couldnt go to the last one cuz i had to fuckin WORK. it blew to say the least. you guys who want to skate rye should just set a date a come up for a weekend. youll love it. john youll have a blast the coping is ultra smooth. and the trannys OH MY GOOOODD!!!. SERIOUSLY IT HAS TO B 1 OF THE BEST RAMPS IN THE WORLD. im not joking. me and andy have skated a LOT of ramps all over and still cant find one better. seriously set a date and go its worh it.
