Before I got injured I was trying them on a 4 foot mini but I couldn't lock on properly. Any tips?

it helps if you lock one foot first. then wrap the other one around and as always keep you balance centered and knees bent.

w00t the part that always threw me off when i started trying em was doing em when you wrap your foot. keep your balance kind of back so that you can slide better and then when when you start sliding rebalance you weight center.

When I try to do em, I put my left foot in a fastslide postion then wrap me other foot behind it (feels more comfortable that way). I just can't lock on my right foot and get low enough to balance.

The way you are explaining it seems more like a BS savanah and if that is what you are going for then when you go up don't half commit if you are going to try then try hard. I just throw my feet into the position and they always seem to lock but a majorty of other skaters go back torque and wrap thier other foot around behind them, also I use my shoulders alot like I throw it around and then look over my right shoulder and lean slightly back to help the slide
