Beginner

Hi, i used to skateboard and just found i didnt have any natural skill to learn the new tricks so i changed to blading.

Blading feels much more natural, however not knowing anything about it is a burden. I was wondering what sort of tricks to start learning first.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

well it kinda depends what you have to skate, if your on a mini ramp then you might want to learn to backslde and frontside stalls and grinds.Or if your just skating rails i would suggest trying soul grinds also those same front and backsides but thats just how i started

Yes i usually skate mini ramp and low-ish rails. I think i know some of the tricks but how do i find out is there any websites or anything?

I know nothing about the tricks in this sport, as i said i used to skateboard and thats totally different. Blades feel like an extra limb of summin i just need to know the moves.

Find someone to skate with who is better than you. You will learn so much faster that way compared to learning everything on your own. What kind of skates do you have btw?

I dont know anyone that blades though :shock:

Erm they are Salomon ST Pro UFS with the widebody things, but i took those off for now as its a little easier on mini ramp. They have the Pro Fast Frames aswell.

Should i put them back on?

if u can't find anyone thats better than u to skate with then get a few skate videos and kinda take note of what happens that helps me sometimes

I went out skating last night and was trying a few grinds which i don't know the names of :shock: and i noticed my boot side was getting really fucked up! Should i put the widebody back on?
