well if your talking about the sliding that would have more to do with the wheel density and usually a soft wheel density wheel take care of the sliding problem for you. unless your talking about cess slides

Well its a matter of preference of what skates you want but I preffer Razor and Remz. Now if your wanting to skate vert i wouldnt recommend getting Remz cause i used to have a hard time just skating remz in vert.
But Remz come with a decent soft wheel Density and so Do Razors. I skate Razors and for all the times that i have ever bought razors they have been soft wheel densities.

A good wheel that i use that i have never had a problem with decoring is the Stockwell Heats. There kind of a soft wheel density and really durable.

I would Recommend you get on ebay and check out the good deals to see if they have some used razors or even some K2 which can be really cheap at times.

roller hockey wheels...goalie wheels to be exact. rought 58mm, but a softness of 62a. these wheels can turn on a dime. excellent for vert.

no hockey wheels!!! Hockey wheels are made for flat ground. The kind of compression, heat and stress wheels get on vert are completely different.
Cozmo wheels are hands down the best wheels for vert.
Ask anyone. I am also distributing them through the site. I just haven't added the link yet. I'm waiting for my next shipment.

Yea and the softer a wheel is the more it slows you down on vert. Sticky 62?'s Must be like riding on flypaper.

not really...my sticky icky 62's are awesome for vert. granted they are for flat ground, but their stickiness gives me so much more grip on the vert, which means i can skate tighter transitions/ grind at shallower angles. they dont slow me down at all because i got brand new bearings in them and I only use the wheels at parks.

trust me on this....roller hockey wheels are dirt cheap too.
