Hey, I have a Regular cheap pair of inline skates, 4 wheels per skate, but can I go with only 3 wheels per skate? Is there any advantages / disadvantages to this? And what would be the best setup?? Thanks

Austin

yea....i used to do that a long time ago with a pair of fitness skates i had.....so i would be able to grind......but i don't know how it would be on vert because i never tried those skates on vert cause the wheels were too slick......

Would there be any pros / cons with 3 wheels if i was just skating around with some friends? Smooth strret and paved areas is what we usually do.

I just have a pair of 30$$ buck Rollin' On Storm Skates from Academy Outdoors Shop. ABEC 5. They were working horribly so i took apart the frame, wheels, and ball bearings and cleaned and Lubed it all up. Workes a lot better now, but in the procces 3 ball bearings wet under my workstation ( our deck).

Go on ebay or Be-mag and find some used Rollerblade TRS, Razors or Salomons and buy those and don't even mess with the skate you have.

i don't think hes talking about vert......if so then do as thumper said.....but if you not going to skate vert in them then you could skate with the front wheel out for all it matters.....believe me....done it beofre......

skating with three wheels is about as awesome as a blonde fat chick named tawnee eating jello sitting on a stump in arkansas on the 4th of july, 1996 with fireworks in the background. roughly speaking...
