I plan on buying Alphas from Inline warehouse because there is nowhere that sells aggressive skates within 2 hours of my house and was wondering if they are good skates. I mostly ride vert and park. I have tried them once and liked them but i only got to ride for about 20 minutes

i had the first alphas (white ones) and i thought they were good for vert. they give lot's of ankle support and just generally skate well.

RB claims to have improved the flex on them...wouldn't know, cuz I had Access & Details...different cuff system...sorta. RB are good skates for beginners...and extremely 1337 rollers who are so good that they dont need pre-grooved royale areas. (But...if they were that good...why would they need those big-ass souls that come standard on RB anyways? A paradox!)


Alphas good for dying to. If I ever get my shells from my stoner friend, I'll dye mine orange and purple.

i used to have alphas. they r good skates 4 beginners but they get trashed 2 easy. try goin with razors.those r good

wow this thread is old....i never did get my shells back, so i got some alpha2 skates & alpha 1 skins.

for street, i wear the alpha 2...street = dirt. for park, i wear alpha 1. park=not so dirt. white skates look bad when dirty.

IMO, alphas are the best skates ever made...once you ditch the liner. i have haffey liners in mine and they feel great, flex very nice and everything.

they take about a week or so the break in and get used to but they are awsome when your used to

i got alphas. i love them. they have bean my b**** for awhile. its time for me to get new skins. im stickin with the alpha 1 skins. Im gettin new linners. I was wondering if the senate gen .2's are good?
