I guess I'm a lucky one here. the closest vert ramp from me is about an hour away....and now that I got a car I can make that trip more often. But I've put off going there for awhile because I wanted to get my new frames on my skates before I made too many trips there, cause I want to start skating vert more but I can't do it too well with my GC's.

i'm looking at a 2 hour drive, but this everyday thing is a bit excessive.

there's this park near me with a 10ft launch ramp that runs into a flybox. on the other side of the flybox is a vert wall. as long as i dont air off the flybox, i can kinda get some inches off the vert wall, but it just isnt the same.

There is a small vert 9'ft within 20 minutes and the next decent sized ones are 3 hours.

It's lame how all the ramps are going down.
Does anyone here know of any good ramps in cali besides Orange and Encinitas and of course Woodward.

The 2003 X-Games ramp is at the YMCA in Encinitas CA so you could skate it if you wanted to.

The 2004 Ramp was a huge ramp but it don't have much more vert than Woodward West. I'd say it had not more than 2.5 on the ramp and the extentions were probably3.5 or 4.
